Our work supports laws like the 3-foot and 4-foot passing rules that help create safer streets for everyone. Why 3 (and 4) Feet Matter
In many states, motorists are required by law to give cyclists at least 3 feet of space when passing. In some places, like Pennsylvania, the requirement is 4 feet. These laws are crucial for reducing accidents and ensuring that cyclists can ride without fear.
